Hope In The Still Waiting

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
    for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.
I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
    therefore I will wait for him.”

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
    to the one who seeks him;
it is good to wait quietly
    for the salvation of the Lord.

(Lamentations 3:22-26)

Seeking God requires patient hope in still waiting. Our hearts and minds can face Jesus and His Grace in that space. Do we have the capacity to make space for Him today? How are you doing today, pastor? How is your family? Neighborhood? Community? Church family? It has been a while, so today, I wanted to check-in. Counting today, we have five days left in September. Ready or not, October is here! Ready or not, the New Year will be here. If there is one thing we must do, it’s this; Seek God! The exclamation point isn’t because I am yelling, I want you to sense what I am sensing in the urgency to prepare our hearts and minds to be fixed on Jesus. We owe it to ourselves, our families, and the context we have been called to serve. Know you aren’t alone. Take time, make space today, and have hope as you wait. Peace and love TWP Fam!
